Haryana CM Khattar unveils cutting-edge e-bhoomi portal

Haryana's Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, has introduced two new online portals aimed at streamlining land acquisition and development processes while ensuring transparency and ease for landowners.

The first portal, named the "e-Bhoomi portal," facilitates the transparent purchase of land for government projects with the landowners' consent. Khattar emphasized the government's commitment to fair land acquisition. Under this portal, land offers will remain valid for six months. Farmers can independently offer their land or choose to do so through listed aggregators. Notably, aggregators must make a minimum offer of 10 acres when submitting voluntary offers.

Resolving long-standing land issues

Khattar also inaugurated the "No-Litigation Policy-2023 portal" to address land-related issues in Kasan, Kukrola, and Sahrawan villages, within the Manesar Tehsil of Gurugram district. This policy aims to benefit landowners whose names were recorded in the revenue estate of these villages as of August 16, 2022, in relation to awards declared in award no. 1, 2, and 3.

The Chief Minister introduced the HMJIS portal to replace the e-Ravana portal, enhancing transparency and handling mining-related complaints more effectively. Additionally, the government will now issue Other Backward Classes (OBC) certificates through the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) system. Citizens can access their OBC certificates online via the Citizen Saral Portal, and if eligible based on PPP data, they can obtain these certificates.

Housing initiatives and relief for farmers

Khattar unveiled the "Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana Portal," designed to provide housing for economically weaker sections. This scheme will offer flats in Panchkula, Gurugram, Sonipat, and Faridabad, with other cities offering both plot and flat options.

In a move to support farmers affected by adverse weather, the state government will compensate those who had to replant paddy due to heavy rains and floods in July. This compensation will amount to ₹7,000 per acre, and the government has introduced the e-Kshatipoorti portal to address losses due to weather-related incidents.

These portals and initiatives are expected to simplify administrative processes, benefit landowners, and enhance transparency in Haryana's land acquisition and development activities.
